With lockdown continuing in the UK, and I'm unable to get out and about to film new content, I'm going back through old footage and making the vlogs I haven't got quite round to making.
This is from 2017 when Vicki and I eloped to New York to get married. I had planned to do a full-on travel vlog about it all, and it started out that way.. However, I decided to sack that off and just enjoy my holiday, wedding, and honeymoon.
Still.. It seems there was enough video and photographs to cut it together, and I'm really pleased with the result. It was the first time I'm made a full-on travel vlog, and it's not as slick or good looking as newer ones, but... I like it.
For those of you interested, we stayed in The Box House Hotel. In the video you'll see we visited Bryant Park, Smithfield Hall, Chelsea Market, Macy's, and a trip to the City Clerks Office for the marriage paperwork! As well as stumbling across some amazing buskers on the subway!
There's a trip to Westfield, a childhood dream of mine is fulfilled, we take a trip up to the One World Trade Center Observatory. Not to mention hanging out on Times Square and playing some old games and pinball machines in Barcade.
It was lovely to revisit this old video footage and chop it up into something shareable. Sorry it sorta ends badly, I just didn't have much footage!
I've got plenty of new content in the pipeline. Stay tuned!
